Ah, to be back aboard! What a wonderful experience.
It's a bit like having a holiday that no one knows about!
We have/had been house-sitting and cat sitting for some friends. This gave us an opportunity to extend the quarter berth - OK, to really make it a quarter berth. And to work on cushions. It was great to live in a house for a while, but all of us felt a bit claustrophobic. We are too used to feeling/hearing/seeing - in short experiencing - the natural world around us. Living in the house, we felt cut off from a part of ourselves.
To be back aboard was Awesome!
This morning as E woke up in his new quarter berth he said, "It's great to be back aboard!"
I've had a spring in my step all day.
Blessed Be
