The girls decided that they didn't want the aluminum insulation we used on the cabin top to be covered. "We like the 'space age' look!" So ... in it went. We can always cover it later. Something interesting we didn't expect, is that the aluminum actually gives off a bit more light - as it reflects what light there is back into the v-berth area. Eventually we will do the overhead in the v-berth too, but that's another project for another day.
The hardest part was unscrewing all the ceiling slats, and screwing them back in. We are thankful that all of these are labeled! If you are doing something similar, we'd highly recommend labeling them as you pull them out, or put them in.
